Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God.   Colossians 3:1-3 NASB

My friend, in these verses above, Paul is saying that when Christ died, you died; when He was buried, you were buried; when He was raised from the dead, you were raised; when He ascended to heaven, you ascended; and when He sat down at the right hand of the Father, you sat down with Him. 

When God the Father looks to His right hand, He sees Christ, and you in Him clothed with His righteousness. This is your heavenly position. This is what Paul means when he says, “Seek and set your mind above.“ My friends, to enjoy a heavenly life on earth you only need to abide above.
