Sometimes people erroneously think that once a person becomes a Christian there will be no hurt and pain. That’s simply not true. If the Christian life is solely a life of bliss why did Jesus need to send a Comforter? The Holy Spirit, my friend, brings us comfort in our pain and empowers us to comfort others with the comfort we have received.
